4.1 Movere LLC as a Business Associate
When Movere LLC provides freight and logistics services to Covered Entities (hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare providers), Movere LLC may function as a Business Associate as defined under 45 CFR § 160.103, and agrees to comply with all applicable requirements of the HIPAA Privacy Rule and Security Rule, as well as the HITECH Act.
4.2 Business Associate Agreement
Prior to handling any shipment that may involve Protected Health Information, Movere LLC requires the execution of a written Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Healthcare clients who have not yet executed a BAA should contact us immediately at Customer Support.
4.3 PHI Safeguards

4.5 Breach Notification
In the event of a discovered breach of unsecured PHI, Movere LLC will notify the applicable Covered Entity without unreasonable delay and in no case later than sixty (60) calendar days after discovery of the breach, in accordance with 45 CFR § 164.410.
